Social Concerns offers service opportunities in our workroom throughout each summer both on and off site. Space is limited and volunteers must register

Here are just a few ideas:
Cut coupons for military families. Coupons are sent to families throughout the world to use at the commissary. Packets can be picked up at the Social Concerns office. 4 hours max on this project
Go to our Sign Up Genius page to see if there is an opening for baking cookies or making breakfast sandwiches. Baked goods are worth 2 service hours for each (HOMEADE)
2 dozen cookies, bars or brownies . Breakfast sandwiches are worth 3 service hours per dozen prepared or 2 hour per dozen if purchased.

Volunteer at Second Mile Mission in Stafford. More info on their website: http://www.secondmile.org/ This is a great “hands on” volunteer opportunity for families, teens, small groups, etc. and you can just drop in!
