The Giving Tree

 
 

This Lenten drive gathers the many new household items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies needed to run our Refugee Resettlement program. Not only does it supply at least 8 family homes per year, but the items also benefit those in need who come to St. Laurence for help in crisis situations.  We have also added the Parks Youth Ranch (a shelter for homeless teens) and items to support our Hope Bags for the homeless.  For more information, please contact the Social Concerns office  at socialconcerns@stlaurence.org

Many times clients will come in needing food or gas assistance.  We have a small food pantry and can offer them non-perishable products.  We also may give them a gift card to a local store so
they can purchase fresh produce, milk, and eggs.  Additionally, many local stores
have gasoline, so the gift cards serve double duty.
We are always in need of the following gift cards:

2 WHITE Bath towels set and 2 WHITE washcloths
