VIRTUAL ACCESS

You can access the Parish Library from home and put your books on hold for pick up! Once you have been approved for a virtual library card, you will be sent your username and password via email. Once you are signed in, you can search the catalog by author, title, or subject and you can reserve items. Once you have put items on hold, please send an email to the librarian letting her know. ([email protected]) The librarian will message you back to tell you when you can pick up your items! 

Now you can take the Parish Library with you wherever you go! Download the Librista App from the Google Play Store on your android device or the App Store from your Apple device. You'll be able to find our library and search the catalog!

During the school year the librarian tries to be here at various times a day throughout the week depending on what activities are going on at the Ave Maria Center, so be sure to call ahead if you need help from the Librarian. Usually, however, she is in the library in the mornings and afternoons during the week, except on Wednesdays, when she is here in the afternoon and evening. During the summer, the librarian is generally in the library until 3:00 pm.  If you would like to check out books while the librarian is not in, self-checkout should be available on the Parish Library computer. If it is not, you may ask the front desk receptionist for a check-out form. Please do not remove books from the library without checking them out.

Did you know that you can donate a book or other item to the library from our Amazon Wish List for any special occassion, such as a birthday, Baptism, Confirmation, marriage, or in memory of a loved one?

Contact the librarian to find out which materials are on the library's wish list! A special bookplate will be placed in any books purchased from the wishlist and donated in order to commemorate the person or event.
