Choirs

At our parish, music forms an integral part of our liturgical celebrations in leading the faithful in “full and active participation” of God’s Word through sung prayer. Our cantors, choirs and instrumentalists primarily lead the music for our weekend liturgies, but also sing for Christmas, Holy Week, and other occasions throughout the church year. No prior musical experience is necessary to be part of the music ministry!  Just come as you are… all are welcome!

5:00 PM SATURDAY & 7:00 AM SUNDAY MASSES

These Masses utilize cantors or small groups to lead the music at these liturgies, and rehearsals are limited to right before Mass.  Please contact the director for more information.
 

9:00 AM SUNDAY MASS CHOIR

The 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass Choir sings a wide variety of repertoire including traditional hymns and classical pieces from the rich heritage of Catholic liturgy in addition to more modern styles. The choir maintains a medium to large membership that joins together with various instrumentalists. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9:00 p.m., in the Music Ministry Choir Room. 11:00 AM SUNDAY MASS CHOIR

The 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass Choir incorporates styles of music ranging from classical to spirituals and contemporary Christian. This group sings primarily two, three and four-part arrangements of music and is accompanied by piano or organ, as well as various woodwind or string instrumentalists. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings 7:30-9:00 in the Music Ministry Choir Room.  Please contact the director for information on joining.

1:00 PM SUNDAY MASS CHOIR

The 1:00 p.m. Sunday Mass Choir sings a wide variety of repertoire including traditional hymns and classical pieces from the rich heritage of Catholic liturgy in addition to more modern styles. This choir maintains a small membership (generally under ten singers) accompanied by various instrumentalists. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons, one hour prior to Mass, in the Music Ministry Choir Room. Please contact the director if you are interested in joining.

5:00 PM SUNDAY MASS CHOIR (Life Teen Praise Group)

The Life Teen Praise Group primarily sings liturgical contemporary/praise and worship music for the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Life Teen Mass. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons, 3:15-4:45 p.m., in the Music Ministry Choir Room. Please contact the director if you are interested in joining.
