Let the Children Come is a support group for people of all ages interested in sharing God’s love through fostering and adopting children.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress - James 1:27. God has called the Church into a crucial role in taking care of vulnerable children through foster care and adoption. Not all are called to bring a child into our homes, but all are called to build up the lives of children in need. There are so many opportunities to help tutor or mentor these children so that they can finish school, find a job and secure a place to live.
LEARN about foster care, SHARE information and consider how you can GET INVOLVED.
There are thousands of children right now in our communities who need our sacrifice, love and hope. And there's never really a perfect time to foster or adopt, just a lot of opportunities to say yes to losing yourself for the sake of another, despite the many reasons you have to say no. Whether you are a single college student, young family, empty nester or retiree, your impact on vulnerable children can be just as great as if you brought a child into your own home.
We don’t all have to do the same thing, but we certainly can all do something.
