Benediction

Thurifer needed. Cross and Candles are desired, but not always available.

• Process with the Monstrance according to the instructions. 
• Thurifer will usually lead the way, followed by the Cross then the candles then the Monstrance.
• Presider will place Monstrance on altar. Cross is placed where directed (usually in the usual spot for St. Laurence)
• Candles placed as usual or could be instructed to stand astride the kneeler.
• Thurifer will stand next to the kneeler and present thurible to presider as needed
  • Beginning of adoration
  • Litany
  • Placement back on the altar with incensing
• During procession of the Lord the thurifer will lead the way followed by the cross and candles. Look behind for when the presider stops to bless the people and then continue one when they are ready. You must pay attention to what's happening behind you and MOVE VERY SLOWLY.
• Recess out when adoration is done.
