Ask
"I am Mercy itself for the contrite soul ...Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight me. To such souls, I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he make an appeal to My compassion." (Diary 1739, 1146)
"Jesus I Trust in You!" says it all-- For we are calling on Jesus and letting him know that we not only acknowledge him as Our Lord and Savior, we love Him, and we trust in His love and His mercy for us.Our Lord explained to Sister Faustina that faith alone would not suffice. "There must also be acts of mercy," He told her 'Even the strongest faith will be of no use without works.' ( Diary 742)
Be Merciful
"I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy toward your neighbor: the first- by deed, the second- by word, the third- by prayer. In these three degrees is contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for Me. By this means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to My mercy." (Diary 742)
