About Our Ministry
“Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another [in] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts, giving thanks always and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.” – Ephesians 5
Do you sing or play an instrument, or used to do so many years ago in school or college? Do you want to be part of a choir, but don’t feel that you have the necessary skills? Fear not… no prior musical experience is necessary to be part of the music ministry! Just come as you are… all are welcome!
At our parish, music forms an integral part of our liturgical celebrations in leading the faithful in “full and active participation” of God’s Word through sung prayer. Our cantors, choirs and instrumentalists primarily lead the music for our weekend liturgies, but also sing for Christmas, Holy Week, and other occasions throughout the church year.
